Vintage Victorian Agate bar brooch. Simple and elegant teal coloured agate bar brooch with subtle stripes of green, blue and white running through the stone. Agate jewellery was made very popular by Queen Victoria because of her interest in Scotland when purchasing the Balmoral estate. The brooch is mounted on a gold tone base and secures with an open 'c' clasp. This piece is in good vintage condition and measures approximately 4.2cm in length and 0.9cm in width.
